         Leatherneck Hardware was founded by two Marines, hence the company name. Jack the owner and his business partner were WW2 Marines. As they were dreaming up a name for the company, the two wanted something that stood for “Rugged and Dependable,” just like the hardware they were creating. The two former “Leathernecks” knew just what the company name should be. Today, you can find our hardware standing prominently on guard securing the Arizona World War II Museum in Pearl Harbor.
